yoshi, 24.
yoshi goes to this standing sushi once a week.
usually on thursdays.
he doesn’t have to say anything. the people at the restaurant already know what he wants.
it starts with a sake. continues with ikura, uni, and toro— in that order.
followed by tamago to sweeten and clean the palate.
a second sake.
he finishes with a round of toro, chutoro and maguro.
and never takes more that 15 minutes.
sometimes when there’s no line outside he slows down enough to appreciate the sake.
today he found the restaurant with plastic partitions everywhere because of the pandemic.
it didn’t bother him.
after all, he always goes by himself.
